New Landscaping

We just finished revamping our landscaping, and when I say we, I mean Mike and I paid, and Ildefonso spent a few days ripping out and digging new holes.  But the job is done and we are looking so spiffy and shinny new.  I will, no doubt, spend countless hours this summer watering all my new plants, but hey it is still new and exciting so don't discourage me with talk of loosing plants to shock or the words "record high heat."  For now I will enjoy every moment walking past a window and instead of looking to see if my reflection betrays me with a new bulge, I will see beautiful mulch, beautiful plants, and a beautiful new outlook on life.  I am off to paint my old Adirondack chairs a beautiful sapphire blue, oh yeah, and to move the sprinkler...

Ugh. Landscaping. I can't think about it or the fines we're getting from our HOA for not having our backyard done yet. We've been here six months, you can't see our backyard and I guarantee no dust kicks up out of our backyard... but go ahead and fine us citing dust violations!! Your landscaping is beautiful. All that would burn to death out here. *sigh* Makes it even harder to try and think about planting anything out here! Grrr!
