Okay, I know you won't believe this, but at 30 something (and I won't be able to say that much longer) I did something that I haven't done since I was twelve-ish. I received a trophy. And not just a small insignificant trophy...but one 18 inches high, big and shinny it even has my name on the front and everything. I know that you may think I post this as a way of bragging, but no really I was shocked to receive a real, bona fide trophy. I thought most 30 almost 40 something's would receive a gift card or a bag tag, but not a huge and I mean HUGE trophy.
I started tennis a couple of years ago at a local club and then started playing on the interclub team this past year. We had our banquet yesterday and I was awarded the MVP of my team. HOW COOL!!!! For about 15 minutes I felt like I was twelve again. It was so shinny and tall and screamed how very important and special I am. I think everyone should receive a shinny trophy, at least every 10 to 15 years so you can remember what it felt like when you where twelve. I immediately wanted to call my mom and dad, sisters and husband. Of course, as soon as I pulled into the driveway I was almost giddy to show my kids. You can't help it, I tell you. So there it is, for you all to see. Now the real question...where do I put it?

Congratulations! That is so neat. I agree - everyone needs a trophy or, at the very least, everyone should clap and cheer everytime you walk into a room.
LOL! Isn't Christine great?!?!
I'm very curious where you'll fit that trophy into the decor of your house. Good thing you're very gifted in that dept.
I personally find it hard to believe that you have found the time to post four (4!) times in the last 24 hours. If you are that bored, I need you to go over to my house right now and pull weeds, water the flowers, organize last year's seminary stuff, and spray for bugs in the basement. I really am impressed by your tennis achievement - maybe that will make all of our rushed or postponed lunches now worthwhile!
Okay, for the record, I want to stand and clap and cheer every time you walk in a room - if I would have know I could have been sitting down this whole time I would have gone and gotten you the trophy.
And don't mind Sherry - she gives me grief about my lengthy, long winded posts a lot. But funny, after all complaining and pointin' out, she is the one that doesn't post but comes around reading all our many, lengthy long winded posts.
We can not criticize because she is our audience - our most loyal and faithful of readers.
I love your yard. Very pretty - but I thought the other yard was lovely.
WOW I'm impressed! I've never ever ever ever recieved a trophy, at 12 or in my 30 somethings...
You should be very proud! Congrats!
I can not believe that you did not call me and share this moment with me... I think that I am going to cry... waiting .... waiting.... nope nothing... jk Congratulations!
